Morgan and Michael currently live in South Carolina, but Long Island has always been home. Both grew up here, and returning to celebrate their wedding felt deeply meaningful. Their Old Field Club wedding on Long Island brought together the people and places that shaped their story, creating a sense of warmth, connection, and belonging.

With a setting that paired coastal charm with timeless elegance, their summer wedding was a thoughtful blend of tradition and relaxed sophistication. From waterfront portraits in Port Jefferson to their intimate church ceremony and joyful reception at the Old Field Club, every moment reflected their shared values of family, presence, and love rooted in legacy.

Morgan and her bridesmaids got ready at Danfords Hotel and Marina in Port Jefferson. The suite was filled with natural light and laughter as family and friends gathered around her. As the morning unfolded, the energy felt joyful and grounded, setting a tone of genuine support and excitement for the day ahead.

Just steps away, Michael and his groomsmen prepared in a quiet building nearby on the same property. Their pace was calm and collected, which allowed for moments of ease before the events began. Meanwhile, we photographed both groups using the marina as a natural, clean backdrop, a subtle nod to the couple’s coastal Long Island roots.

The ceremony took place at Infant Jesus Church, a short drive from Danfords. The church, steeped in tradition and filled with loved ones, created an atmosphere of closeness and reverence.

Morgan and Michael chose not to have a first look. Instead, they saw each other for the first time as Morgan walked down the aisle. This intentional choice preserved the depth and emotion of that moment. As a result, the ceremony felt especially grounding, offering a quiet pause in a day full of celebration.

Following the ceremony, we made a brief stop at the Old Field Point Lighthouse for portraits. Although the winds were strong, we worked efficiently to capture a handful of timeless images that highlighted the character of the North Shore. The coastal textures and shifting light offered a beautiful contrast to the more formal moments of the day.

The evening continued at the Old Field Club, where Morgan and Michael arrived before their guests to see the reception space for the first time. The room was elegant and intentionally styled, featuring a king’s table and refined floral arrangements by Black Dahlia. Soft lighting, neutral tones, and organic textures created a setting that felt luxurious without being overstated.

Throughout the reception, Morgan and Michael moved through the evening with grace and ease. Rather than rushing through formalities, they stayed fully present with one another and their guests. Consequently, every interaction, toast, and dance felt personal and authentic. This sense of presence defined the celebration and made the evening feel genuinely unforgettable.

The Old Field Club is one of Long Island’s most beloved waterfront wedding venues, known for its understated elegance and natural surroundings. Whether you envision a summer celebration like Morgan and Michael’s or a coastal wedding in early fall, the venue offers both charm and flexibility.

Additionally, its proximity to Port Jefferson makes it easy for guests to enjoy the weekend. Venues like Danfords Hotel and Marina provide excellent getting-ready spaces with scenic views, while nearby churches and historic landmarks allow couples to honor tradition without sacrificing flow. For couples who value legacy and thoughtful planning, the Old Field Club supports a wedding day that feels both personal and seamless.
