Your wedding is not a production.
It is an experience that deserves to be fully lived, not performed.
At Heritage House, we document your day in a way that allows you to stay present in it.
So when you look back, you don’t just see what it looked like.
You remember how it felt.

Press and recognition
This is for couples who care about more than how their wedding looks.
You want to feel comfortable in front of the camera, not directed through every moment.
You value a calm, thoughtful presence over constant instruction.
Being present with your partner, your family, and your guests matters more than being pulled away for photos.
You trust the team you’ve chosen and expect everything to move seamlessly behind the scenes.
And you care about what lasts.
Not just digital images, but something tangible that reflects the story you lived.
If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place.
Most couples spend months planning their wedding.
Very few think about how it will actually feel.
You can move from moment to moment, checking off a timeline and posing for photos.
Or you can experience the day as it unfolds.
Calm. Connected. Fully present.
“They blended in so seamlessly, made everyone feel at ease.” — Rachel & Joe
Our role is to protect that.
We guide when needed, step back when it matters,
and create space for real moments to happen naturally.
Nothing forced. Nothing that takes you out of the day.

We are present for what matters, but never in the way. Observing, anticipating, and stepping in only when it adds to the experience.
You won’t be directed through your wedding. Instead, we guide with intention so everything feels natural and unforced.
Behind the scenes, we work closely with your planner and vendor team to ensure everything flows seamlessly.
The result is a day that feels calm, supported, and uninterrupted.
You stay fully present, knowing every meaningful moment is being documented with care.
“He was a calming presence throughout the entire process.” — Michelle & Shaun

It begins before your wedding day.
Your collection begins with an engagement session. Not just for the images, but for the experience.
It is a relaxed, intentional way to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera while allowing us to understand how you naturally interact.
By the time your wedding day arrives, you are not adjusting to being photographed.
You are working with someone who already knows you.
On the wedding day, we arrive early, allowing us to document the details and atmosphere as everything comes together.
From there, we remain present throughout. Not just for major events, but for the in-between moments that give your wedding its character.
We guide when needed, step back when it matters, and ensure nothing feels rushed or forced.
"He taught us how to feel comfortable in front of the camera and made everything feel effortless..” - Allison & Frank
“He went above and beyond in ways
we didn't expect ” — Kelsey & Jeff
As your wedding approaches, we work closely with you and your vendor team to shape a timeline that supports the natural flow of the day.
Every decision is made with your experience in mind.
Our role is not to control your day, but to create the structure that allows you to move through it with ease.
"He created a detailed timeline and kept
everything running smoothly.” - Peter & Dave
Before the evening is over, you will begin receiving preview images.
Your full gallery is delivered within approximately four weeks.
From there, we guide you through a custom album design process, with the goal of having your album in your hands within three months.
"The fact we already had pictures to look at during dinner and at the end of the night a printed album to take home was unreal. Our friends and family were so impressed by the team as well, commenting on their professionalism, efficiency and how gorgeous the pictures were they already got to see!” - Quinn & Josh
“Our guests were blown away by the experience.” - Kaitlyn & Gabe
“He was able to send photos to both us and our guests within the same night of our wedding, and the photos were already amazing quality.” - Lydia & Robbie
There is a difference between watching your wedding and truly experiencing it.
You are not thinking about what comes next.
You are not being pulled out of moments.
You are present.
From the quiet anticipation in the morning
to the energy of the celebration,
everything flows naturally.
You will receive images before the day is over.
Your guests experience it as well.
The result is a wedding that feels lived, not staged.

Your wedding does not end when the day is over.
That is when it begins to matter most.
Your album is the story of your wedding, designed to be experienced again and again.
It becomes something you return to. Something you share. Something that lasts.
Because years from now, your wedding will not live on a screen, but in something you can hold.
“We’ll be able to relive the day through his work.”
— Christine & Bill

Heritage House wedding collections begin at $7,200. Every collection includes two photographers, full-day coverage, an engagement session, sixty to eighty images shared with you before the night ends, your full gallery within four weeks, and a custom heirloom album. Most couples choose a more comprehensive experience.
Most couples book nine to eighteen months ahead. We recommend reaching out once your date and venue are secured. We take on a limited number of weddings each year, so availability is intentionally limited.
Start with style, but don't stop there. Look at two or three full weddings, not just portfolio highlights. A highlight reel tells you what someone can do once, a full gallery tells you what they deliver every time.
Ask how many photographers are included, when you'll receive your images, and whether they help build your timeline. Then meet them. You will spend more hours with your photographer than with almost anyone else on your wedding day, so how you feel around them matters as much as their work.
Most couples worry about that at first. Within minutes, it fades.
That's much of why an engagement session is included in every collection. By your wedding day you are not adjusting to being photographed, you are working with someone who already knows how you are together.
On the day itself, you won't be directed through your wedding. We guide when needed and step back when it matters.
Yes. We shape your timeline with you and your vendor team so the day flows naturally.
This is one of the most important parts of a wedding that feels calm rather than rushed. Most of what makes a day feel hurried is a timeline built without photography in mind.
Two photographers are included in every collection, with full-day coverage. Not an add-on, and not a second shooter for part of the day.
Sixty to eighty images are shared with you before the night is over. You'll also leave the wedding with a small album so you have something tangible to show family and friends while we finalize your gallery.
Your full gallery follows within approximately four weeks, and your heirloom album within three months of your design meeting.
Yes. From cocktail hour forward, your guests receive images of themselves in real time. Not weeks later.
Yes. Two.
A printed album from your wedding day, that night. And your heirloom album, designed with you afterward and delivered within three months of your design meeting.
Yes. We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation, and we provide certificates of insurance to venues on request.
Most venues require this before a vendor can work on site. If yours needs a certificate, send us their requirements and we will handle it with them directly.
Yes. We photograph weddings throughout Long Island, New York City, the Hudson Valley, the Hamptons and the North Fork, New Jersey, and select destinations.
Reach out through the inquiry form with your date and venue. We'll confirm availability and set up a conversation.
A one thousand dollar retainer reserves your date. The balance is due thirty days before your wedding.
That is the default, not the requirement. If a different schedule works better, monthly, quarterly, or something built around your own timing, just ask. We will put it together.
Often, yes. And when we haven't, it matters less than you would expect.
Knowing a room means knowing where the light falls at four o'clock in October. That is worth something, and it is why we walk through unfamiliar venues before your date.
But a photographer who has shot a venue fifty times can also arrive with the pictures already decided, and photograph your wedding the way they photographed the last one there. We approach every venue specifically, familiar or not.
Two photographers are included in every collection, with full-day coverage. Not an add-on, and not a second shooter for part of the day.
About one hundred images per hour of coverage. Most galleries come to around twelve hundred images.
Every one is delivered in both color and black and white.
Yes. After your album design session, your gallery is released as high-resolution files with full printing rights.
Every timeline has a contingency built into it before your wedding day. A second plan, and usually a third.
Rain changes where, not whether. We are not dependent on the weather or on a particular location, and we are not limited to natural light. A good photographer can make a beautiful image in a parking lot.
What you are hiring at this level is partly the pictures and partly not having to think about this.
Yes, at every level.
Every camera writes to two memory cards at once, so each image exists in two places the moment it is made. We carry backup bodies and redundant lenses.
The redundancy that matters most is people. Your second photographer is a lead photographer, not an assistant. The second photographer someone who could run your wedding alone if they had to. And our team is larger than the two people at your wedding, so illness or an emergency has an answer that isn't a phone call to you.
Yes. Videography is available as an add-on, with the same approach: present, unobtrusive, and built around your day rather than staged around a camera.
“On our wedding morning, it was pouring rain and the ground was soaked. Right around our first-look time, the rain paused, and Steve made the call to go outdoors to get the shots we've always dreamed of. His assistant even ran around with an umbrella just in case, and we managed to get all of our photos outside.” — Tori & Mark
“On our wedding day the picture taking was done in such a way that we got everything we wanted all before the cocktail hour started.” — Carolee & Chris
“They blended seamlessly into the background which allowed us and our guests to be fully present without ever feeling like we were constantly being photographed.” — Ashley & Kyle
“Danielle, his second photographer, and Kayla, Stephen's assistant, were amazing! They all work so well together and make a phenomenal team.” — Claudia & Trevor
